I love to hand out items like the Ring of Druidcraft in my games, for clarity I do not have a Druid in my current party but that is not to say that a Druid's ring is completely useless! I like to throw curveballs like this my players' way because not only does it force them to think more creatively when utilising their cool magic items, it also helps with world building - reminding the players that the world was not purpose-built for their characters.
